Hi, I’m a dog mom based in Airdrie, and I created SpotIdea to share real-life dog care experiences from life with Daisy and Spot — my two very opinionated dogs who turn everyday routines into chaos, comedy, and constant learning.

Daisy is the calm observer. Spot is the enthusiastic destroyer of every “indestructible” toy we bring home.

Together, they’ve taught me what actually works in real dog life — and what is just marketing.

  • are practical for real homes, not just marketing claims

My goal is to help dog owners avoid wasting money on products that don’t last.

Why I started this site

I started SpotIdea because I got tired of buying “perfect” dog products that didn’t survive real use.

This site is my way of sharing what actually works, so other dog owners can make better, simpler choices.
